The Sony XS-162GS is a high-grade upgrade from factory speakers, designed for drivers who want clearer vocals, smoother highs, and a more “up on the dash” soundstage — not just louder noise. Because it’s a true component set, you get separate woofers and tweeters, so the tweeters can be mounted higher in the cabin for better imaging and detail.

Under the hood, Sony uses a composite polypropylene cone woofer for solid midbass and a 20mm silk soft-dome tweeter for natural, non-harsh treble. The included in-line crossover networks make wiring straightforward, and the shallow woofer basket helps reduce interference with factory grilles in tighter doors.
